Appa... unlike Ganesh, I will start from my college days.  If I want to tell the way I applied and attended the interview, its going to be a long story.. I am what I am today is because of the TAG "Advocate".  appa always used to tell, I want all my children to be professionals. Appa you know, we all have become. I am in media, Suba is a master in IT field and Ganesh, as you wished, is No. 1, business Man,  in the Mount Road Radio Market.

I cant forget the day of saraswati puja when my law interview result came.  Devisri (close friend in 3 months) from Arts college called up on "77488" (spl. No. from Madras Telephones, you got in 1975)  and informed about my Regn No. appearing in one of the dailies. In spite of having good relationship, downstairs Bhavani did not inform us about the law results.  You went to the shop, confirmed the no. in the newspaper and got "kalkandu".  OMG...

I just signed the application form of law college, being the introduction batch of 5 yr Integreted course, I didnt have any idea.  But you were clear, filling up the form, attaching passport size photos, taking DD in the specified Bank, attaching it, and submitting it before the due date in the Institute of legal Studies, Nandanam.  Interview letter came. They called me on 3rd OCT.  at 10 AM.  You were supposed to take me to the Law college, but asusual, You went to the office, inspite of Amma's repeated reminders, you could not come. You called up home and asked me to come to Arts College in Egmore and from there we will go to the interview.  But to my utter surprise and shock you did not turn up till 1 PM. I started crying (tender age of 17) and called Amma. Amma was very upset and asked me to come home, and I went home. By 2 PM you came home and started shouting at Amma and me and asked to come with you for the interview. I was not willing to come. But you insisted and took me to the college, by 3 PM.  what is more surprising is, Mr. Janardhanam and team were ready to interview me still. But unfortunately I didnt have my original Mark Sheet. They gave me time till 7th OCT, 10 AM.  I applied in Arts college where I was doing my BA.  But by the time I got my original marksheet, it was 1 PM. From there we rushed to the Interview, and I was quizzed on American Civil War, Nero playing violin, and about Bhagavat Gita....

And  the Rest as they say is  HISTORY......

Like the way I got the admission, My enrolment was also memorable Appa.  You just came out of Royapetta Hospital after a Massive Heart Attack.  You did not go out, But still when I came home, after enrolling in the Bar Council,  You welcomed me with my Visiting Card, Rubber Stamp, and Letter Head.  You even arranged for the NOC, which has to be done 45 days before enrolment, only over phone.  Appa I have made many Rubber stamps and Letter Heads, But the Proudness you had in printing my name, A.Rajasri, Advocate, High court, No. 7 Law Chambers,  is something very special and precious.  No Letter head or Rubberstamp can ever replace it.
